研究领域:

不对称催化有机合成和杂环药物合成 1) 不对称催化有机合成 采用铑,铱和铂与双膦配体组成的络合物作为手性催化剂,进行氧(氮)杂苯并降冰片烯与亲核试剂的不对称开环反应的研究,获得较高的立体化学选择性及对映选择性,得到对映体过量值为95-99% ee的好结果。因此这项研究对于寻找新的手性催化剂和开发新的手性药物,丰富过渡金属不对称催化立体化学将具有重大科学意义。 2) 杂环药物合成 很多喹啉衍生物具有杀菌、抗菌、抗高血压、抗抑郁、抗过敏、抗疟疾、抗肿瘤和抗癌等生物活性和药理活性。通过改变喹啉环上的取代基来修饰结构,探索新的喹啉类化合物合成方法及新的药物合成。

杨定乔 男,教授,博士(硕士)研究生导师。湖北省黄冈市人. 华南师范大学化学与环境学院有机化学研究所工作,现任有机化学研究所所长。2010,07-2010,12, 美国纽约城市大学(City University of New York)做研究,访问教授。2005,10-2006,04,美国阿肯色州大学(University of Akansas) 从事药物合成及其生物活性研究半年。2002,02-2003,03.由国家留学基金委派往加拿大多伦多大学(University of Toronto)化学系从事不对称催化有机合成研究工作,在加拿大皇家科学院士(Prof. Mark Lautens)指导下,进行不对称催化有机合成研究工作一年,访问教授.1991年,1993年,1996年曾三次应邀赴美国新泽西州立大学讲学并与美国教授(Dr. Grace. Borowitz, Dr. Irving, and Dr. Shine)合作从事科研工作达二年以上。
